‘Miracle On Ice’ Star Pavelich Auctions Off Lake Placid Gold Medal For $262K

The man who assisted on Mike Eruzione’s game-winning goal against the Russians at the 1980 Lake Placid Olympics has parlayed his gold medal from those Games into $262,900, a nice nest egg, he said, for his daughter.

Pieces Of Olympic And Comic Book History To Be Auctioned Off In NYC

Among the items up for auction will be Mike Eruzione’s Team USA jersey from the 1980 “Miracle On Ice” game. It’s expected to fetch over $1 million.
