Alec Baldwin and MSNBC announced Tuesday they were ending his Friday night show after the actor had been suspended for two weeks for using an anti-gay slur.
The actor, who was suspended from his cable talk show last week, spoke out in a Huffington Post article, published Saturday morning.
He said his actions came as he tried to protect his family _ presumably from the photographer _ but were unacceptable and undermine “hard-fought rights that I vigorously support.”
