SUNY Announces Plan To Standardize Financial Aid Letters For Students At All Schools
Chancellor Nancy Zimpher says the initiative is part of SUNY’s effort to decrease the loan default rate of SUNY students by at least 5 percent over the next five years. The average default rate is now 13 percent.

The State University of New York, with more than 400,000 students and a budget of $11 billion, is releasing what it considers an unprecedented report card detailing how the nation’s biggest public system of higher education is performing.
