Long Island Man Sentenced To 60 Days In Jail For Animal Cruelty

Lee Hughes pleaded guilty in February to failure to provide veterinary care to a dog suffering from a neck wound that became so infected that it compromised the animal’s ability to breath, the Nassau County District Attorney’s office said.
