According to prosecutors, 19-year old Joseph Beer is accused of driving high on marijuana while going at least 110 mph on the Southern State Parkway before losing control and crashing into trees near Exit 17 on October 8, 2012.
Joseph Beer, 17, was handcuffed and escorted to court six weeks after surrendering to police after crashing his car on Long Island’s Southern State Parkway. He is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.
