A magnificent and ornate building at West 73rd Street and Broadway on the Upper West Side was once Babe Ruth’s home. But the location is drawing attention for a much different reason.
For the past several days, an Upper West Side neighborhood was lit up like Times Square with light from a store sign. On Wednesday, however, the lights weren’t quite so bright anymore.
Some Manhattan residents are having a tough time going to sleep at night. A Time Warner Cable storefront sign is lighting up the Upper West Side and residents say it’s too bright.
