Deer With Arrow Lodged In Head Rescued

The arrow missed all major organs and arteries, traveling through a nasal cavity. The puncture wounds weren’t infected, and the deer was treated with preventative antibiotics.

NJ Wildlife Officials Tranquilize Bear Spotted In Resident’s Basement

The bear, an adult male estimated to be well over 500 pounds, took a long time to go down. Officials hope to examine, tag and release him onto state property.
