New York State Law Taking Effect Friday Makes U-Turns In School Zones Illegal

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and State Sen. Charles Fuschillo were joined by Old Mill Road Elementary School students in Merrick, Long Island on Thursday to unveil a new sign advising drivers of the law.
