Traffic was at a standstill on the New York State Thruway interchange in Elmsford on Monday morning when motorists tried to save a wandering dog from itself.
Authorities say a former lawyer for the New York State Thruway Employees union is accused of stealing more than $211,000 from its accounts.
There were 17 people were on board the bus. Six people were injured, though none of the injuries are considered to be life threatening.
