The engineers have decided they can live with the South Broadway overpass over the New York State Thruway, which means they will not have to take property along the Rockland approach to the bridge.

That blur of color you just saw zipping by was in fact, according to police, a human being. A motorcycle traveling south Wednesday on the New York State Thruway in the Village of Ravena in Albany County was clocked at 166 mph, the State Police said.
