Heat Wave Continues As Advisory For Tri-State Area Is In Effect Until 7:00 P.M.

A heat advisory is in effect until 7:00 p.m., and it’s creating all kinds of problems — from air quality issues to a water shortage in New Jersey to open hydrants in New York City.

Air Quality A Major Concern During Tri-State’s Sweltering Heat Wave

As high heat and humidity mix with pollution from power plants and motor vehicles, emergency health advisories and warnings were issued. Poor air quality can be very harmful, especially for those with asthma.
