A New Jersey man was sentenced Tuesday to 39 years in prison for shooting and killing an off-duty Newark police detective two years ago.
Authorities say Casey Cole conspired with 24-year-old Bishma Cowan and 27-year-old Quashon Faircloth to set up Isaac Rinas, 18, for a robbery.
