Penguins Hand Islanders 1st Loss Of Season, 3-1

Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist scored power-play goals 55 seconds apart in the second period, and the Pittsburgh Penguins gave the New York Islanders their first loss of the season, 3-1 on Saturday night.

Predators Send Islanders To 20th Loss In 21 games

Anders Lindback made 28 saves to record his second consecutive shutout, and Patric Hornqvist had two goals to lead Nashville to a 5-0 victory over the Islanders Monday night.
