Prosecutors are dropping a disorderly conduct case against legendary Grammy award-winning singer Paul Simon and his wife, singer Edie Brickell stemming from a fight at the couple’s home.
The couple stood before a judge holding hands during their appearance at Norwalk Superior Court and were told to return on June 17. They did not answer questions from reporters after the hearing.
A newly-released police report on Thursday said it was Paul Simon who made the 911 call that led to the arrest of both him and his wife on disorderly conduct charges.
New Canaan police said they responded to the couple’s home Saturday night to investigate a “family dispute” after someone called 911 and hung up.
About one in five preteens in New York City struggles with mental illness or emotional problems, according to a new study.
For the fewer than 300 in attendance, what a treat it was to hear Simon and Williams perform together. The set list included “Mrs. Robinson,” “The Boxer” and “Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard.”
