Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an armored car robbery in Brooklyn.
Police on Monday renewed their call for help from the public in finding the suspect who robbed a Pay-O-Matic in West Harlem and threatened to set it on fire.
On Monday at 1:45 a.m., the man entered the store with a cup filled with flammable liquid, the police said. He then threw the cup under the cashier’s window and demanded cash while flashing a lighter, according to the NYPD.
Police said the three men entered a Pay-O-Matic check cashing business on South Conduit Avenue. They identified themselves as detectives before taking cash.
