The second highest official in the Archdiocese of Newark has resigned from his post, in the wake of a scandal involving a priest who had contact with minors allegedly in violation of an agreement with prosecutors.
The Rev. Michael Fugee, 52, traded in his collar for an orange prison jumpsuit, handcuffs and shackles during his brief court appearance in Bergen County on Tuesday morning, 1010 WINS’ Steve Sandberg reported.
