Animal welfare advocates were outraged Tuesday night, after a dog was found tied up and abandoned in Bergen County, New Jersey.
About 75 dogs landed at Essex County Airport in Fairfield, New Jersey thanks to some pilots who donated their time, money and airplanes to the effort.
Matted and scared, these dogs were brought in from shelters in Kentucky. These dogs are victims of savage midwestern storms, they lost their families and homes, so volunteers from Pet ResQ Inc stepped in to save them.
