Athena, a sweet and petite Dwarf Rabbit - who is now 11 months old. Athena was a gift for Easter last year and was turned into the Humane Society of NY a month ago, because the person who adopted her was allergic. HSNY has brought her up to date on all medical, including having her spayed. Athena loves to be petted and held. All who meet her love her! Her favorite treat is parsley. The Humane Society of New York and the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals are once again offering a free spay/neuter clinic for rabbits that were purchased at pet stores or obtained from sources that did not previously sterilize the animal.
