Police have arrested one of two suspects who allegedly stole an iPhone from a Hell’s Kitchen venue, and sent a photo of themselves to the victim’s mother.
At 5:41 p.m. on Friday police said they arrested George Jordan, 36, for petit larceny and resisting arrest. Jordan was at St. John’s Hospital being treated for a prior condition when he freed himself from handcuffs and fled the hospital.
Police said Thomas Campion, 49, of Babylon swiped the jar from a store in Lindenhurst on Saturday. There was about $200 in the jar for Columbia Presbyterian Hospital’s heart center.
