Family, Friends Bid Final Farewell To Jennifer Mejia, Youngest Victim In Medford Pharmacy Murders

Thursday night, Mejia was remembered at the Bellport High graduation ceremony. Tributes to her were everywhere: on the stage, in the program. Balloons were released to honor her.

David Laffer, Suspect In Medford Pharmacy Massacre, Pleads Not Guilty

Laffer said nothing at his arraignment. His lawyer pleaded not guilty for him. A judge ordered Laffer be held without bail.

David Laffer Arrested And Charged With Murder In Medford Pharmacy Shootings; Wife Melinda Brady Also Arrested

Suffolk County Police arrested 33-year-old David Laffer Wednesday morning and have charged him with 1st degree murder and resisting arrest. Laffer’s wife — 29-year-old Melinda Brady — was also arrested for 3rd degree robbery.

Suffolk Police Getting Plenty Of Tips In Search For Medford Pharmacy Gunman

The phones haven’t stopped ringing at Suffolk Crime Stoppers. The commander of the unit, Lt. Bob Donohue said the response from the public was the biggest since the Gilgo Beach killings came to light.
