NHL Wipes Out 82 Regular-Season Games Through October 24

An NHL lockout has forced the cancellation of regular-season hockey games for the second time in seven years. The league on Thursday wiped out 82 games through Oct. 24 — beginning with four on Oct. 11, which would have been opening night.
