Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Police
A Washington state man was allegedly driving drunk early Sunday, as he plowed over a lamp post, a street sign, a flood light, several bushes and a parking meter before finally being pulled over on the George Washington Bridge.
The Policeman’s Benevolent Association, which represents most Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police officers announced the endorsement Tuesday. The union had backed Christie’s rival, incumbent Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine, four years ago.
