Two nursing home aides are accused of taking disturbing photos and videos of residents at multiple nursing homes on Long Island.
The $25.6 million project at the busy intersection of Routes 347 and 112 at Port Jefferson Station is designed to improve traffic flow and safety.
Ellen Burkheimer used the money she collected to buy heroin and pay her rent and other personal expenses, according to police.
