NYC Board Of Health Approves Flu Shot Mandate For Young Children

New York City’s Board of Health voted Wednesday in favor of the mandatory vaccine for children under 6. The initiative takes effect in 30 days and will be required for about 150,000 children.

City Announces Early Education Center For High-Risk Children To Open Next Fall

New York City Schools Chancellor Dennis Walcott said an Educare center will open at P.S. 41 in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn next fall. Educare is a preschool program for at-risk children aged six weeks to five years old.
