Catholic League President Furious After St. Patrick’s Day Parade Boycotts

The President of the Catholic League this week took issue after Mayor Bill de Blasio declined to march, and sponsors withdrew, from the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade amid a dispute over whether participants can carry pro-gay signs.

DOMA Suit Plaintiff Windsor To Serve As Pride March Marshal

Edith Windsor, the plaintiff who filed the lawsuit that led to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling against the Defense of Marriage Act this week, will be among the grand marshals for this year’s New York City Gay Pride parade.
