Report: Providence Hogan, Caught Embezzling From PS 29, Would Prefer Jail Time
Back in July, a judge ordered Hogan a chance to avoid prison time by simply paying back the money she stole, plus interest. As part of the deal, Hogan was to cut a check for $40,000 and pay the rest in installments.

Providence Hogan is hoping to avoid jail time by paying the $82,000 she stole over two years from the PTA at her child’s elementary school.
Former Brooklyn PTA Treasurer Charged In Alleged Embezzlement
Providence Hogan, 43, was charged with embezzling $100,000 while acting as treasurer of the PTA at P.S. 29 in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn.
