Officials said the pursuit started shortly after 5:15 p.m. Friday, when Clark police officers were notified that a man was trying to buy items with a fraudulent credit card at a Target on Central Avenue.
A violent early morning crash in the Bronx left six police officers hurt. The officers were in the middle of a pursuit in the Tremont section of the borough just before 6 a.m. Saturday when the accident occurred.
