Random Drug Testing
The Northern Valley Regional High School District in New Jersey rejected a proposal for random student drug testing on Monday.
Parents and students at a New Jersey high school are upset over a new plan to conduct random drug tests.
Attorney Bruce Rosen filed suit on behalf of the parents, claiming the school board has not complied with an open records request for all documents the district had related to the issue.
The program is voluntary. So it’s up to parents whether to sign their kids up and the students will know if they’ve been enrolled.
