Tonight, it’s not as harsh as it has been over the past few nights. Well drop into the low 30s, but that’s 10 or so better than this morning.
The week began with downright summerlike temperatures, but the grip of winter slipped back onto the Tri-State Area late Tuesday.
Tri-State Area residents woke up to dangerous cold Saturday, with some areas setting record lows in the minus range. And the conditions brought a high risk of hypothermia and frostbite for anyone outside for too long.
Tri-State Area residents were not the only ones suffering through a bitter blast this weekend, and some areas have seen conditions far more severe. At least 16 deaths were blamed on the snowstorm.
