A 30-foot section of a roof collapsed at a bakery supply distributor on Long Island, officials said.
A section of a car dealership’s mezzanine caved in Friday, killing a construction worker trapped by the rubble as three others scrambled to safety, authorities said.
It occurred Thursday morning on East 180th Street and Arthur Avenue in the East Tremont section of the borough.
The collapse occurred just after 9 a.m. Wednesday at a 21/2-story dwelling on University Avenue in the Kingsbridge section.
