Bratton: There Was Indeed A ‘Slowdown’ Among Officers In Ticketing, Low-Level Arrests

Police Commissioner Bill Bratton said Friday that enough NYPD officers stopped writing tickets and making low-level arrests since the assassination of two officers in Brooklyn that the number of summonses plummeted 90 percent.

Former NYC Police Captain, 9/11 Responder Barry Galfano Dies

Retired New York City police captain Barry Galfano has died just days after releasing an emotional video about his time at Ground Zero following the 9/11 attacks. Galfano died Sunday after having fought brain, lung and liver cancer. He was 57.
