Ruth Sherman, 89, and Lenore Zimmerman, 85, both said they were strip searched.
There’s new fallout over airport screening procedures after three women say they were strip-searched at John F. Kennedy International Airport. On Tuesday a former top-ranking Transportation Security Administration agent weighed in.
The woman, who is in her 60s, told CBS 2’s Kathryn Brown a nearly identical story about her experience going through security JFK last weekend. In fact, she was on the same flight as one of the other women.
The TSA said that the Belgium-bound passenger surrendered her items to officials and that there was no impact to airport operations.
Lenore Zimmerman, 85, was angry and embarrassed after what she claims was a strip search at Kennedy Airport. Now another woman in her 80s said she was exposed one day before at the very same terminal.
