Expanded Boating Season On NYC’s Upstate Reservoirs Deemed A ‘Success’

City environmental officials this summer began allowing small boats on the Neversink, Pepacton, Schoharie, and Cannonsville reservoirs as long as the boats were steam cleaned to protect the drinking water.

Cuomo Creates $15 Million Fund For NY Farms Damaged By Irene

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Irene caused significant damage to the state’s agriculture. He said there is already $45 million in damage to farms in the state.
