And while some key performers for both teams may not suit up on Sunday, one name stands out prominently on the injury list, quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Coach Mike McCarthy has pronounced third-string quarterback Scott Tolzien the starter against the Giants on Sunday.
As it happens, the Packers will visit the Giants at MetLife Stadium on November 17, meaning that Big Blue will likely avoid having to face the dynamic quarterback.
Cleveland coach Eric Mangini would not name McCoy his starter but said the third-round pick, who is 2-1 in his first three NFL starts, “would get the bulk of the reps.”
