Report: Maximum Sentence For Brooklyn Man Who Killed, Chopped Up Roommate

A southern Brooklyn man has been sentenced to a maximum life term for killing his roommate and hacking him into thousands of pieces, according to a published report.

Prosecutors: Sheepshead Bay Man Admitted To Killing, Chopping Up Roommate

A criminal complaint says 49-year-old Sergey Mamonov told police he beat his roommate to death during a fight on March 25 and carved up his body.

Sheepshead Bay Man Accused Of Killing, Chopping Up His Roommate

Authorities announced that 49-year-old Sergey Mamonov was charged with murder in the death of 55-year-old Aleksandr Zilbergleyt.
