A massive cleanup effort was underway along the New Jersey coast on Saturday, as dead fish continued to wash ashore.
Volunteers turned out Friday morning to help Belmar clean up after a massive fish kill earlier in the week.
Footage from Chopper 2 showed thousands of dead fish in Shark River near the docks in Belmar.
Coast Guard officials say personnel aboard the larger craft reported the collision and bought the two men aboard their vessel. They then headed into the Shark River and met crews from Coast Guard Station Shark River, who escorted them to shore.
Coast Guard crews have come to the aid of a diver who collapsed aboard a recreational boat off the central New Jersey coast.
