Sidewalk Santa Parade
Since 1902, the Santas have marched up Fifth Avenue to raise money for Volunteers of America’s Hope & Hearth food voucher program.
It’s another post-Thanksgiving tradition: a huge serving of ho-ho-ho along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
Dozens of Jolly Saint Nicks marched along Fifth Avenue on Friday in the annual Sidewalk Santa Parade.
Friday morning, fifty of Santa’s helpers marched across 48th Street, up to Fifth Ave and to 59th Street – ringing bells to raise money to feed the needy.
