NJ Woman Faces Manslaughter Charges For Allegedly Administering Fatal Silicone Injection Into Woman’s Buttocks
Tamira Mobley faces assault and manslaughter charges after allegedly injecting silicone into another woman’s buttocks despite not having a license to practice medicine.
Authorities have charged 34-year-old Kasia Rivera of East Orange with reckless manslaughter and unauthorized practice of medicine.
The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said Friday that 34-year-old Kasia Rivera gave 22-year-old Justin Street the injection on May 5. He died the next day.
Prosecutors said Whalesca Castillo charged more than $1,000 for each round of shots. A criminal complaint filed in federal court in Manhattan said the 36-year-old Castillo does not have a medical license.
