American Alex Deibold Takes Bronze In Men’s Snowboardcross

Deibold edged teammate Taylor Jacob then sprinted to bronze, the painful memories of when he served as a wax technician — grunt work really — for the Olympic team after failing to qualify evaporating in the process.

Thick Fog Wreaks Havoc On Schedule At Sochi Olympics

The fog rolled in over the mountains Sunday night and showed no sign of dissipating by Monday afternoon. That prompted organizers to call off the men’s biathlon mass-start race and men’s snowboardcross almost simultaneously.
