First-Ever Suffolk County Boaters’ Sobriety Checkpoint Leads To Two Arrests

Suffolk County police held their first-ever Boating While Intoxicated sobriety checkpoint, leading to the arrests of two people. The checkpoint, conducted by the Marine Bureau and Highway Patrol Bureau, was near Sandspit Marina in Patchogue.

Thirteen People Arrested Inside Of Four Hours At DWI Checkpoint On Long Island

A sobriety checkpoint on Long Island conducted by the Suffolk County Police, New York State Police, and MTA Police netted thirteen arrests on Friday night and Saturday morning.
