Three Long Island Rail Road workers have been charged with stealing thousands of pounds of copper wire from the railroad and selling it for scrap.
Sgt. Scott Greene did not say a word as he appeared in court to face charges that he stole money from drivers. He was arrested in January.
Jeffrey Kimmel was convicted of the charge in April by a Bergen County jury that also cleared him of child sexual assault charges.
