New Jersey Network Fades To Black
The station, launched 40 years ago by lawmakers who felt neglected by Philadelphia and New York television news, was closed Thursday by politicians, including Gov. Chris Christie, who believe the state has no business in the broadcasting business.
New York’s WNET Will Take Over New Jersey Network
Saying that New Jersey doesn’t need and cannot afford its own television station, Gov. Christie on Monday announced a deal that calls for transfer operations of the state-owned New Jersey Network.
