L.I. Cops Look For Man Who Allegedly Followed Students

Twice last month, students at Island Trees High School in Levittown reported being followed by a man in a white van. Nassau County police said he drove alongside the students, circled back, and then followed them again.

Bloomberg To Teachers: No Automatic Tenure

Teachers will have to earn tenure by showing they have improved the performance of their students for two straight years and get a high rating from their principals and superintendents.
