These kids are not asking for a million dollars. They just need a few bucks here and there to help make ends meet. The colleges make millions of dollars as a result of these kids walking through the tunnel and onto the fields or courts.

Lawyers for former student-athletes are seeking on Thursday to turn their lawsuit against the NCAA over compensation into a class action representing thousands of collegiate competitors.

New NJ Law Aims To Protect Student Athletes

Gov. Chris Christie signed into law a bill that requires coaches to remove any player who shows signs of a concussion. Those students would need to be cleared by a doctor before they can compete again.
