SPCA: ‘Sweet Dog’ Forced Out Of SUV, Left On Side Of Road In Coram

The Suffolk County SPCA received a call Thursday from a woman who said she saw a blue SUV stop along Sun Valley Dr., open the passenger door and push a small white dog with a bushy tail out of the door.

Reward Offered After Fifth Abandoned Gator Found Wandering On Long Island

A three-foot-long gator was found inside a container in the parking lot of the Applebees Shopping Center in Shirley on Sunday, according to the Suffolk County SPCA.

Police Rescue Alligator On Long Island Expressway

Suffolk County police said a motorist spotted the gator on Monday in East Yaphank, in the eastbound shoulder of the highway.
