Cardale Jones came through again at the Sugar Bowl in his second career start and Ezekiel Elliott ran for 230 yards, leading Ohio State to a 42-35 upset of top-ranked Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinal Thursday night.
“Now that we’re here, there’s no conversation whatsoever about the next one,” Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer said, alluding to the first College Football Playoff title game Jan. 12 in Arlington, Texas.

The Buckeyes are no stranger to BCS games. In fact, this will be their sixth straight BCS appearance and eight overall, which is more than any other team all-time. However, Ohio State isn’t always great on this stage.
