Judge Gives Bonds House Arrest, Then Delays It
A federal judge handed Bonds a sentence of 30 days of house arrest, two years of probation and 250 hours of community service on Friday — then delayed the sentence pending an appeal likely to take a year or more.
Bonds Trial For 2003 Testimony Starts Monday
Starting Monday, a jury will be selected in the very same court house where Barry Bonds testified all those years ago to determine whether he broke the law with four short answers totaling nine words: “Not that I know of,” “No, no,” “No,” and “Right.”
