Ahmed Ferhani Sentenced To 10 Years In NYC Synagogue Bomb Plot

His voice breaking with emotion as he thanked his family and friends for their support, Ferhani was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was arrested in May of 2011 after a nine-month investigation.

Top Charge Gone From Alleged Synagogue Bomb Plot Case

Ahmed Ferhani and Mohamed Mamdouh pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges including criminal possession of a weapon as a terror crime. A grand jury rejected the top charge against them which carried the potential for life in prison.
