Thousands of die hard shoppers ran through the doors at Macy’s Herald Square store which opened on Thanksgiving for the first time in its 155 year history.
For the first time ever, Macy’s will open most of its stores across the country on Thanksgiving Day this year.
You wouldn’t know it was Thanksgiving Day by looking at the steady stream of shoppers going into stores around the Tri-State Area.
Thanksgiving Day is no longer reserved for just family and turkey. Shoppers are on the prowl looking for deep discounts and an opportunity to avoid the Black Friday crowds before they head back home for dinner.
