Voluntary workouts began on Monday morning, and players had to arrive at the Giants’ facility by 11:30 a.m. for their participation to count for the day. Victor Cruz was a no-show.
Though Cruz’s affiliation with Roc Nation Sports is not official, his decision to be represented by CAA is. The third-year player recently hired CAA’s Tom Condon to be his agent.
“If the Giants want to work something out, I am always up for listening, figuring out what I can do to help the cause,” Manning said.
He still has questions to answer, with many wondering whether he was a victim or participant in the scam.
Tebowmania, huh? Looks like that era may be over in Denver. According to CBSSports.com, the Broncos are close to signing all-time great Peyton Manning to be their quarterback.
Former Giants’ wide receiver Mario Manningham agreed to a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, adding to a talented receiving corps which could lure Peyton Manning.
As one of the strangest NFL seasons — on and off the field — winds down, football fans can begin contemplating playoff matchups, followed by the Super Bowl, then the draft. And then, perhaps, nothing.
